Ed Straker

Dr. Straker is an advisor with AER&CO focusing on energy and environmental technology and related transactions. He has more than 30 years' experience in P&L management, strategic marketing, and technology applications in the energy and environmental industries. Prior to joining AER&CO, Dr. Straker had a distinguished career with SAIC, where he was an executive vice president and member of the board of directors. Among his many achievements at SAIC, Dr. Straker managed a $300 million-plus organization, growing profits more than 15% annually over a ten-year period through a combination of internal growth and strategic acquisitions. Dr. Straker lead efforts to expand services to utility clients to help them respond to deregulation, to create a profitable web-enable risk trading company and to provide technology strategies for utilities transitioning to competitive markets. Dr. Straker earned his PhD in nuclear engineering from the University of Michigan and his BS in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee.
